Step 1: The Image

Clear relationship context. How does this character see the user? What do they want from this dynamic? If you don't define this, the AI treats every conversation as an initial encounter and defaults to generic companion-mode.
The example chat section. Write 4–6 exchanges showing exactly the tone and response style you want. This is the fastest way to calibrate the AI's behavior. "How was your day?" / "Exhausting.
